After forty years, local veteran finally sees his novel published.
In 1975, army veteran Milton Jones wrote his novel, ULTIMATE OBSESSION, on a 1927 Underwood typewriter. This philosophical yet romantic story is set in Virginia in the late 1940’s, just after World War Two. Drafted during the Vietnam War, Milton Jones knew something about war and its effect on relationships. While ULTIMATE OBSESSION didn’t find a publisher at that time, Milton kept his manuscript.
In 2015 22 August Press convinced Milton to give them his manuscript. A year later, Milton received the first proof copy of Ultimate Obsession in the mail.
ULTIMATE OBSESSION will officially launch on November 18, 2017 at the Charlottesville Book Fair, held at City Space, 100 5th Street, NE, Charlottesville, Virginia.
